Health & Lifetyle Coaching
Health & Lifestyle Coaching Outline
I have been a Health, Fitness & Lifestyle Coach for over 15 years. After serving in the Royal Marines, I qualified as a personal trainer and nutritionist. While working in gyms and with private clients I trained as a college lecturer. As well as lecturing in the subjects of health, fitness and well-being, I provide coaching services for people striving to improve their health and make positive lifestyle changes.
My primary objective as a coach is to empower the client so that they can take charge of their own lives leading ultimately to positive changes in behaviour.
Throughout the coaching process, I provide support and guidance at every stage of the transformative process. In addition, while developing personalised lifestyle interventions, I work with the client to build self-efficacy and confidence.
Specialist areas of focus
My area of expertise is centered on supporting individuals who are struggling to implement and maintain lifestyle improvement initiatives. This could include, for example, cultivating healthier dietary habits, creating and implementing an exercise program, enhancing general motivation and/or working towards personal aspirations.
The coaching approach I adopted is solution-focused which incorporates a multimodal blend of behavioural strategies making for a service tailored to each client’s personal needs.
Areas of support

Nutritional advice and dietary reform
Creating and implementing a personalised exercise regime
Health screening (health MOT and lifestyle analysis)
