Health & Lifestyle Coaching Outline

I have been a Health, Fitness & Lifestyle Coach for over 15 years. After serving in the Royal Marines, I qualified as a personal trainer and nutritionist. While working in gyms and with private clients, I trained as a college lecturer. As well as lecturing in the subjects of health, fitness and well-being, I provide coaching services for people striving to improve their health and make positive lifestyle changes.

Coaching objective

My primary objective as a coach is to empower the client so that they can take charge of their own lives leading ultimately to positive changes in behaviour.

Throughout the coaching process, I provide support and guidance at every stage of the transformative process. In addition, while developing personalised lifestyle interventions, I work with the client to build self-efficacy and confidence.

Specialist areas of focus

This could include, for example, cultivating healthier dietary habits, creating and implementing an exercise program, enhancing general motivation and/or working towards personal aspirations.

The coaching approach I adopted is solution-focused which incorporates a multimodal blend of behavioural strategies making for a service tailored to each client’s personal needs.
